This little cat here tries to revive his dead friend. In fact he gives him a heart massage.

Java Programieren leicht gemacht

Seit einem Jahr lerne ich nun bereits Java in der Schule. Ich habe mir also gedacht, ich könnte meine Erfahrungen, Eindrücke und Probleme mit euch teilen. Wahrscheinlich werde ich auch einige von meinen Klassen hier veröffentlichen, oder das ein oder andere Tutorial schreiben, wenn ich zum Beispiel ein neues Problem gelöst habe.

First things first:

Wir programmieren in der Schule mit "JavaEditor" für Windows XP, aber ich programmiere Zuhause mit "Eclipse" auf Linux und Windows 7.

Meine Sammlung ist ordentlich sortiert und synchronisiert sich via DropBox mit meinem PC, meinem Laptop und meinem Schul-Account.

Ich habe schon früher einige Erfahrung mit anderen Sprachen gemacht und begreife Java im Grunde auch relativ schnell.

Wie es scheint, wird es bei der kommenden Wahl im nächsten September ein Duel zwischen Renate Künast und Klaus Wowereit geben. Dabei hegen die starken Grünen doch die größte Sympatie gegenüber der SPD. Das wird bestimmt noch ein interessantes Ende geben.

Wenn sich der Trend hält hätten wir also eine zweite starke Frau in Berlin, die frischen, grünen Wind in die Politik bringt.


Die Grünen sind ja sowie so im Moment voll im Trend, Umwelt wird spätestens seit diesem Jahr in Deutschland Groß geschrieben, mal siehe nur mal auf die Castro-Transporte.

3 Things about life. III: Student Version

Another 3 Advices, this time: Student version!

7th: If you didn't do the reading, make a general comment or ask a general question early in the class (e.g. "Could you be more specific/clarify what you just said, Thomas?"). Doing so avoids the problem of being conspicuously silent and also reduces the chances that the teacher will call on you later.
8th: If you use one very solid source on your research paper go to wikipedia, check for your Topic and use it's source's bibliography. This will make your teacher think "Hey he used a lot of different sources instead of just using wikipedia as the other kids".
9th: You are wrtiting a paper and you need to send it to your professor but you didn't finish yet? No Problem: Grab a jpg, mp3 or some other media file and rename it to .doc and send to professor. The "paper" will look "corrupt" and you will have to resend it to your prof. saving you one or two days.

Tequilla Steak

So i heard you like Tequilla and steaks? This is the perfect meal for you matey!

 What you'll need:

• 4 ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick
• 1/2 cup tequila
• 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
• 2 tsp lime zest
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 tsp kosher salt
• 1 tsp prepared horseradish
• 2 bay leaves

What you need to do:

1. Mix tequila, pepper, horseradish, bay leaves, lime zest and garlic in a heavy plastic bag. Add steaks and rotate to distribute mixture evenly over steaks. Let sit in refrigerator over night.
2. On a preheated grill, cook steaks, brushing with remaining marinade, until done. Turn once during cooking time, about 12 minutes.
3. Season with salt and serve.
4. Enjoy.

Here we go agian:

4th: Grocery stores stack product by sell date, so oldest in the front, freshest int he back. Always grab from the back.
5th: When you order french fries ask for no salt. They'll have to make a new batch for you and you can put salt on them afterwards.
6th: If a persons pupils are contraction or rapidly changing as they speak, or they have some other similar micro-expression, they are most likely lying.
